Hello new fifth graders, 

Welcome back! I am honored to have the opportunity to be your teacher, and I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade! We have a wonderful year planned with many opportunities to grow academically, socially, and virtuously. I believe that a well-rounded education contains moments of failure, a drive to persevere, and the heart to empathize with others. 

That is why I love working at TPS, because the focus is not just on your academics, but everything you are. I am honored to be a part of a team of lifelong learners who want to instill a passion for knowledge in all of you. You are also surrounded by an incredible and caring community that is committed to helping you become well-rounded citizens that will go out into the world and make it a better place. 

Our expectations in fifth grade are high, but you will rise to the challenge and surprise yourself with what you will be able to accomplish. I am looking forward to making so many incredible memories with you this school year. May our time together be full of wonder, laughter, and empathy as we navigate the exciting adventure called 5TH GRADE!
